Sam at Almost Seven Months

Now that Sam is almost seven months old here is our six month update (we're a little slow right now).  We had Sam's six month doctors appointment a few weeks after he turned six months old.  Sam is 17 lbs 4.5 oz (38th percentile), 27" long (54 percentile) and has a 17" head circumference.  Overall his growth has slowed slightly and he is 2 pounds lighter than Josh at the same age.  The pediatrician told us to increase his solid food to give him more to eat.

The biggest change for Sam recently has been his eating.  Sam wants to eat everything! If you are eating near him, be careful - he will go after your food.  A few weeks ago Sam grabbed for some mashed potatoes on my plate.  As I was cleaning his hand he used his other hand without me noticing to get more to eat.

Sam continues to be very happy and mostly easy going.  He did get his two bottom front teeth which made him a bit fussy but he has recovered from that.  He is not quite crawling but is very active scootching around.  He can now sit up on his own without falling over (mostly).

Josh and Sam still get along very well.  Josh is mostly willing to share his toys with Sam even as Sam is now grabbing at them more and more.
