As many of you know, Julian and I have decided to start biking :-) Julian has been wanting us to get into biking ever since we moved to the suburbs, since we live in such a bike friendly area. Obviously I was not going to start riding a bike while pregnant, and Josh could not ride with us until he was 1 year old so we hadn't really thought about it much. Julian got a bike for his birthday this year, and a Burley Bee for Josh. I borrowed one of my sister's bikes, since she won't need it for the summer. So we were finally all set for some family riding!! We all went out for a spin last weekend for Father's day. Josh has been LOVING his helmet, and wears it around the house...although he got tired of wearing it when we were biking and was complaining about it. Julian found that pulling Josh in the Burley was way more effort that he anticipated, and it really slowed him down. He will just have to get used to pedaling faster :-) The burley has tons of space to pack a picnic, so we hope to do some fun family rides and picnics this summer!
